Construction Blueprint Inspection

Operating Instructions

Follow these steps for precise, professional cuts every time.

1

Initial Guide Setup

Remove the B-Eames cutting guide from packging, ensuring that all four grub screws are in the place. Place the guide over the top face of the blade guard.

2

Guide Positioning

Position of the B-Eames cutting guide will be of personal preference based on optimised visibility of the laser on the guide face and getting a comfortable posture whilst holding the machine at the correct angle.

3

Laser Alignment

Place the cross hair laser in front of the disk cutter, ensuring the vertical line of the laser is in line with the cutting blade. Then adjust the four M6 grub screws on the guide body with the allen key provided, ensuring the vertical laser lines up with both cut-outs on the guide face. When achieved, tighten grub screws to ensure the guide stays in the correct position.

4

Secure the Screws

The grub screws must be tightened firmly to get a good purchase into the guard face and avoid any chance of vibrating loose.

WARNING

If the B-Eames cutting guide is placed too far forward or backwards of the guard, it would be in danger of coming off and causing an accident.

Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment including safety glasses, hearing protection, and work gloves. Never operate power tools when fatigued or under the influence of alcohol or medication. Ensure all guards are in place before use. If the tool makes unusual sounds or vibrations, stop immediately and inspect for damage.

5

Final Adjustment

Final adjustments to optimise the laser on the guide face can be made by releasing the two 5mm screws securing the guide body. This enables the guide face to swivel, allowing the final accurate adjustment.

6

Compatibility Check

Universal fitting suitable for most disk cutters. Attempting to fit the B-Eames cutting guide on the wrong disk cutter could damage the machine or harm the user.
