Our Story
Born on the Building Site
At B-Eames, we believe that site safety and efficiency should go hand in hand. For years, tradespeople have struggled with the physical strain and safety risks of traditional cutting methods. We founded B Eames Cutting Guide Limited to change that, introducing a patented solution that allows you to cut with 100% accuracy in half the time all while protecting your health.
Our founder, James Eames, was operating a grinder when it jammed and kicked back, slicing from his chin to his neck and missing his windpipe by mere millimetres. This harrowing near miss exposed a fatal flaw in the trade: to cut accurately, workers are traditionally forced to lean directly over a spinning blade. Haunted by how close he came to tragedy, James invented a way to move the operator out of the "line of fire." By using a laser guide to provide 100% accuracy from a safe, upright position, we have turned a life altering accident into a mission to ensure every tradesperson goes home safe.
